The four years after the release of “Revelations”, Portuguese PHAZER recorded another album, “Kismet”…

“Kismet” is represented by the eleven compositions in the Rock style with the pinch of Grunge-Groove. The songs are dynamic, belligerent and heavy, and certainly melodic and lively. Some subjects sound quite as Thrash Metal. So PHAZER takes an inspiration from various sources of heavy Rock, also following to the direction of Southern Rock and Stoner Metal. The album also includes ballads accents. The beginning of album brings the climat of Mid Asia and the nostalgic end of the album is crowned by the track in the classical acoustic guitar style.

Of course, the whole is focused around a traditional Rock instrumentarium, but at the end there is the harmonica and the another variety (the different insertions, such as monologues of Charles Manson and Charlie Chaplin as well as Arabic muezzin's chants).

To illustrate more the music of Phazer then I defines it as a light PANTERA with influences of METALLICA (from the time of “Load” and “Re-Load”) and ALICE IN CHAINS.
