Psilocybe Larvae are experienced band of Russia was founded in the mid-nineties. The Labirynth Of Penumbra is their fourth release still penetrating the metal threads of the border of many its varieties in a good way.
The Labyrinth Of Penumbra is publishing an interesting and very well thought out. Musicians juggles few styles, from death metal, by doom, black, folk and gothic, dressing it in melodic and sometimes experimental puzzle. The music is dark, depressing, melancholy but not without power of metal sound and concrete hits into the face. Patents music are diverse and bring those sounds much space. A variety of vocals, keyboards spots, interesting guitar work, and frequent climate change presents to us experienced musicians with lots of imagination. I think that this music will be for metalheads who do not look to the music labels and opinions. Can hear the musicians get good inspiration. I hear there influences from bands like Celtic Frost, Tiamat, Death and even Manowar, so fans of these bands should find something for everyone.
Psilocybe Larvae recorded a good album from a variety of species of metal, well made produced in a very modern way, with a lot of interesting threads that arrangement. Music in time for the harsh autumn and winter evenings with a glass of good Russian vodka.
