It is time for Swedish prelude of CONFIDENCE… Swedish bands always have something interesting to offering even if it is Black, Death and Power Metal. It is my subjective opinion obviously but you can not deny that Sweden is power in Metal World…

It seems that “Prelude” is inspired by the Rock-Metal bands from 80th years – particularly from themes of Glam/Power Metal and Hard Rock. I hear the similarity to EUROPE, DIO and SAVATAGE here.

The compositions are simultaneously predatory and melancholy – with strong guitars, dynamic phrases. The music is enriched by the complex parties and sounds of keys (e.g. the organs of Hammond, piano, strings). The vocal parts are very melodious – they neatly lead the intensity of works (oscillating among the quarrelsome melodiousness, sharp falsetto and nostalgic singing).

The arrangements are very progressive, rhythmically varied, multi-thematic with virtuosity solos. The whole is very replete of emotions (with superiority of dark melancholy). Especially it are underlined by the very romantic, balladic themes.

The “Prelude” – it is only 4 works – but it is the very solid material, very romantic and monumental.
