“Lord Of The Rings” was the best thing that could ever happen to me after eating 2 kilos of marshmallows while watching “REC 3”. I had such a galactical stomachache that couldn't move from bed. But wait, we're talking about Iymrya, right?

“Tale Of Fallen Throne” is not based on Tolkien's thrilogy, but you can still feel that foggy and mysterious atmosphere, which associates with kind of old castle ruins and other so called “romantic” stuff. Also album cover is just beautiful and shows actually the whole Iymrya's spirit – that's unbelievable, how strong the music and nature connection could be…

People without imagination won't understand that album- luckily, I can't complain for lack of it. For example, the most epic track for me is “Rumors Of War”- it sounds somehow proud and a bit…well…elfish (Whatever it would mean…) ? That track is a proof, that Iymrya is not typical ambient one-man band. Well, “one man” is it definitely- no credits like “all music by Iymry, except tracks 1,3,4,7- that phrase really pisses me off… But elements almost compulsory for ambient are not so easy to hear- maybe “Crossing The Sea”, but it doesn't disturb in any way- it's just something fresh. Or “Fury Eyes Of Strm”- but no, that one was creepy.

On “Tale Of Fallen Throne” is just happening too much to call it a “lazy ambient”- sometimes you hear voices, horses, wind- almost everything. But all these sounds separately would be bleak, unless you put it to “Batle Hymn”- there the “Violin” are making everything more dramatic but also melodic, what's not really popular in this kind of music.

Well, I've mentined “Lord Of The Rings” movie already. The music there is such an amazing work that you can't repeat it in any other context. But Iymyr tried. And succeed- just check out the first part of “Immortal Legion” and “My Throne Behind The Misty Land” and you'll know what I mean- just no words to describe this feeling…

I don't always get excited with “strange” albums, but “Tale Of Fallen Throne” is something different. Iymrya's music will be great fantasy movie soundtrack- I'm writing to Peter Jackson. Now.
