After 8 years of HEIDRA released her first album. But their work he was not vain, because the team already has in its collection two demos and Ep. This time the winds favored for the brave musicians and they recorded their first album in Sonic Train Studios with help of Andy LaRoque (the musician of KING DIAMOND, composer, producer)…

The singer of old Scandinavian tales follow the path that leads through the old lands and the strange places, the past battles and the various events. And the musicians relate for us about these things through their music, which of course is inspired by Scandinavian folklore presented in the Metal way.

In short, Viking Metal performed by HEIDRA is a combination of the prey Black Metal (with the typical screams and the sound of guitars) with Power Metal (with the specific melodies of guitar and vocal, with the clean vocals and the orchestral keys). And as I mentioned above, the music is marked by the Folk mood, which is heard in the sounds of specific keys and the multiple lines of melodic solos and in the choral vocals.

Of course, it still is Metal – predatory, screaming, rebellious, quite heavy, played in the medium-fast tempos but also with the slowdowns and the many melodies, the clean singings, kept in the dark and epic atmosphere.
