Switzerland also took fashion for Hardcore. About the fashion I had the opportunity to find out at few festivals in the country. Thus, during of the listening to music of HEROD not surprise me with their approach to making music…
“They Were None” is the first album of the band, which has been woven with multiple threads of different genres of Rock music. And the whole has created something that it can be described as Post Hardcore… with the low-tuned baritone guitars, which gave the unearthly heavy sound … with the crushing riffs interspersed by the lots clean of chords… with the climatic solos and licks… with the powerful blows of the complex phrases of drums… and of course at the head of multicolored of vocal ecstasy, from the monstrous growls to the hysterical screams until the calm vocals…
The whole is a very complex, surprising, climatic and polyrhythmic… The elements of Post Rock give space and climate for the music… The slowdowns of Sludge/Doom sometimes hardly and atmospheric freeze the compositions for a few seconds after a while the music mechanically moves to forward as Industrial composition until the rhythmicity of Mathcore or the hysterical storm Deathcore…
The album is very good. I think that will not disappoint fans of Post Hardcore, and I think I'll join the group of the fans.
