VANIR unleashes new track and album info

The leading Danish folk-metal band, VANIR, is ready to release their third album in October. This album marks a new stylistic direction with influences from a number of melodic metal genres – but still centred on the Viking and battle thematics. Behold the Glorious Dead!
Now it’s time to unveil how Vanir anno 2014 sounds like.
The album opener “Fall of The Eagle” is a tale of blood and glory. As the Germanic tribes led by the warlord Arminius of the Cherusci ambushed and destroyed three Roman legions and their auxiliaries, led by Publius Quinctilius Varus at the Battle of Teutoburg Forest in 9 AD!
