VAULT OF ACANTHUS is a team showing their debut Ep “An Acanthus Tale”. The material was self-released in digipack with four songs. Here is quite interesting cover-art with a woman floating on the water, like on a wave … But we move on to the music. Can the music drifts us on the wave? I personally like the music. Maybe the music does not absorb me like a water and does not float me on a wave but the music quenches my “desire” …
VAULT OF ACANTHUS plays Symphonic Rock / Metal with progressive elements. These are great music arrangements, in which the progressively guitar playing great complements the keyboard, and it perfectly yields climate and progression to the songs. In the music we also will listen the instrumental folk additives, and it gives even more depth. The instruments are complemented by the female singing, which blends seamlessly in one piece with the music. Sometimes the vocalist yields a gothic climate.
The band is well-knit, as evidenced by their constant changes of pace. Although they have only the Ep they can not hesitate to release an album. The album is proof that they have the potential, idea and great opportunities to be exist in the world of the music.
