Meet HELLEBORUS – Black Metal duo the Houseman brothers

The track and their second single released to the metal community is called ‘The Carnal Sabbath’. It was premiered last week on NefariousRealm.com plus it’s the title track off the duo’s upcoming album set for release later this year.

Named after a gorgeous, but poisonous flower that blooms in winter, Manitou Springs, CO based Helleborus is the new creation of brothers Jerred & Wyatt Houseman (both former members of Execration). Pushing their creative freedom to new levels, the psychedelic black metal project is Dionysian in nature and explores themes of sexual mysticism, Qabalah & the Esoteric.

?I have always had a vision for the type of black metal project Helleborus would be and it seemed to fit well with the magic my brother was writing. We want to bring & represent a more dark, romantic side to black metal. Masculine, powerful & respectful, controlled chaos.? comments Wyatt Houseman.

Their yet to be released debut album ?The Carnal Sabbath? holds pleasures of seductive guitars and bass rhytms. Combining tastes of black, death and doom metal with a vast ambiance. Jerred & Wyatt venture outside the conventional colors of traditional black metal and deliver a new aura of sound.
