One can say that SHREDHEAD is a unique band, which is focused around the Danish label Mighty Music. And it is because of that bands from the label seldom are from outside of Western Europe. SHREDHEAD comes from Israel and exists since 2009, but the first 2-3 years as THE NEW ORDER. After the renaming, the musicians have recorded their first album “Human Nature”. In addition, it is worth mentioning that the band won the battle for a place on the stage of Wacken Metal Battle in Germany in 2012. And now, from some months now we have the opportunity to listen to their latest album “Death Is Righteous”.

“Death Is Righteous” combines the extremely dynamic compositions. Thrash Metal in realization of SHREDHEAD belongs to the heavier and more aggressive forms of this sort. Sometimes it smoothly passes towards Groove Metal. Their music is predatory and sometimes even furious and is closed in a specific rhythm (very distinct, irrepressible and energetic). The madness of the sharp solos and the guitars riffs even more enhances the intensity of aggressiveness. Although occasionally there are also more melodic and slower phrases, which introduce a dose of dark atmosphere. However, the apogee of this aggressiveness is reflected in the aggressive vocals, which the range is quite broad, ranging from the strong singings and screams as well as the stressing backing vocals, and ending with growlings or the very hysterical screams in style of Grindcore.

Sometimes SHREDHEAD made me the associations with PANTERA.
