Ibyss from Germany have released their first music video for the song “Monolith”, which was directed by German underground-artist Ghostfog.

Beware! This video is full of flashing lights, constantly irritating the viewer?s eyes. Inspired by images from movies like Jacob?s Ladder, Silent Hill and music videos by Neurosis or Tool, the pulsing and hypnotizing visuals of this video perfectly fit the original song?s character. The surreal story line is also a statement against clicheed band performance videos.

“Monolith” was directed and produced by underground artist Ghostfog, whose previous works for bands like Liquid Grey, Fragile Child and Chord Of Souls established his dark and raw visual trademark in the independent music scene.
