Second offering in less than a year. ZONER, the one-man band extraordinaire, from Nicosia, Cyprus, return with a second album in just under a year since the band?s last album (?Euharmonic Elevation?) which was released in early 2015.
ZONER?s new offering is titled ?Auralsonic Navigation? completing the trilogy that started three years ago with ?Spectraphonic Deviation? and it will be out in November 9th, 2015 on CD and digital.
This new offering is definitely more hard hitting and ?solid?, something quite possibly attributed to the fact that the album features mostly new arrangements of 10, 15 and 20-year old songs. Bottom line is that the end result this time is much more METAL as the early influences (such as Metallica, Slayer and Megadeth to name a few) are heavily relied upon.
Of course all songs are filtered with the same ?quirkiness? that was evident throughout the previous two albums and yes, the rock/pop/prog and even funk vibes are subtly evident here and there!
This is again a self-produced release with Antonis Demetriou, the man behind the project, handling just about every single aspect of the album apart from the beautiful artwork which was once again entrusted to talented artist Ed Unitsky.
As always, ZONER is offering the CD version of the album for FREE so, as quantities are limited, everyone interested should get in touch with the artist directly by visiting
