American Pagan Metal HELSOTT add new guitarist Mike Pardi (Possessed/Draconis)

American Pagan metal band HELSOTT is proud to announce the addition of new guitarist Mike Pardi (Possessed/Draconis) to their line up for both live and upcoming recording for their follow up to 2014’s debut album ‘Woven’, which Pardi was a special guest vocalist for the track ‘Cessation’ that can be heard at the following album stream link here.

“We are happy to have Mike join the fold. He has worked with us in the past and we feel his dark and heavy style will fit in perfectly with us plus supporting Lt’s Rhapsody and Primal Fear for their Southern CA show will be awesome! We have never shared the stage with either of those bands before so we are looking forward to tearing it up with them in San Diego!” comments vocalist Eric Dow.

Helsott will be local support for Luca Turilli’s Rhapsody and Primal Fear tour stop in San Diego on May 14th at Brick By Brick. Tickets available at www.Helsott.com.

About:
American Pagan Metal? What does that mean? Americans pretending that they are Vikings?

No, Helsott is so much more than that. Lyrically, Helsott pay homage to all things pagan, not just Scandinavian Paganism. American Mythology, Scandinavian Mythology, Germanic Mythology, Ancient Egyptology, Celtic Mythology, Greek Mythology, and all things Heathen. Paganism was and still is relevant all around the world and is the main backdrop in the Theater of Helsott. Musically, if you threw Folk Metal, Death Metal, Symphonic Metal, Thrash Metal, Classical Music and Rock n’ Roll into a smelting pot and poured its contents onto the world…that world would scream Helsott. Meaning “Fatal Illness” in Teutonic, Helsott have already carved a piece of the Metal World for them-selves and plan on carving deeper with their beautifully brutal, pagan themed brand of metal for years to come.

On a National level Helsótt has toured the US and Canada with Paganfest alongside Ensiferum, Tyr, Heidevolk, and Trollfest…for Rock The Nation USA. In 2015 Helsott toured the US in support of their album “Woven” twice. The first being a summer headlining tour and the second in support of Arkona and Heidevolk on the Pagan Rebellion tour.

On a local level Helsótt has supported national and international acts such as: Finntroll, Ensiferum, Moonsorrow, Opeth, Katatonia, Trollfest, Heidevolk, Turisas, Nile, Ex Deo, Dio’s Disciples, Tyr, Korpiklaani, Fleshgod Apocalypse, Nevermore, Barren Earth, Suidakra, Eluveitie, Arkona, Alestorm, Metsatöll, Kill Devil Hill, Carach Angren, Fear Factory, Rotting Christ, Epica, Death Angel, Hate, Kampfar, Vreid, Keep of Kalessin, D.R.I., Insomnium, Omnium Gatherum, Necrophagia, 1349, Warbringer, Mayhem, Destruction, Heathen, Goatwhore, Possessed, Woods of Ypris, Decrepit Birth, Origin, Dillinger Escape Plan…and many more.
