Canadian 80’s Thrashers AGGRESSION announce new bass player Martin Meyer (ex-DISCIPLES OF POWER, LIFE AGAINS DEATH, THE GOLERS)

AGGRESSION is proud to announce new band member bassist Martin Meyer (ex-Disciples of Power, Life Against Death) who replaces original bass player Yves “Dug” Duguay.

Denis Sasquatch Barthe comments “The band lives in Vancouver on the West coast. Dug lives in Montreal on the East coast so that was working against us to begin with. We did a tour through Ontario and Quebec with him last spring and I think it was just too much for him. He’s been dealing with some health issues for a few years now. We all wish him the best.”

Meyer comments on joining the band “So there I was enjoying some time off from music. Having spent the better part of 30 years touring and playing in bands like the Golers, Life Against Death, this all after having my first taste of the music life with Disciples of Power all them years ago. Anyhow, like I said, I was enjoying my time off, then an old buddy of mine says to me “hey, ya wanna play a couple shows?”. So I say to myself “You should go have some fun” Well..here we are now, some time later and I say to myself. “Hey… These guys are alright, I think I’ll stick around””.
