This raw production fits to old school Thrash Metal, but the result is not quite good. The sound of the guitars and vocals are audible very well. But the percussion, the both drums and the cymbals sound like muffled.
The first track is the intro. It begins with the heartbeat. I think it is from some sound of a keyboard. And after I heard the hits of bells coming from the same keyboard. Then we hear the industrial sounds that were finished by the shot of firearm. Unfortunately these all didn’t created the atmosphere of mystery and darkness, but it came out lacklustre. If the intro would not be on the album then I think could be better.
Fortunately, the next five tracks is a good Thrash Metal. There are capable guitarists, and the bassist also has its moments. The vocalist sings “from the throat” with an interesting manner. The songs were composed in an interesting way, with changes of pace and rhythm. The musicians use a variety of means of musical expression. The music is dynamic and absorbs the listener.
Most I liked the fifth track, “Cerne Dira” ( “Black Hole”). It is the well-developed composition. It is composed of various elements – fast and slow as well as majestic. It is varied melodically and rhythmically.
The band says about himself that the shows are their element, where they come true themselves in 100%. I think that’s true. I recommend the album “Trauma” for anyone devotee of Thrash Metal, of course if you like homemade production.
