About MINER’S OUTFIT

MINER’S OUTFIT from Denmark play dramatic pop rock americana music based on western guitar, drums, piano and various string instruments, and plenty of catchy pop choruses.

The four members each situated far away from each other use Copenhagen as common base. Viggo is living in Copenhagen, Andreas is living on Bornholm, an Island south of Sweden, while Thomas is based in Aarhus in Jutland and Tommy on Langeland (Long Island), which is an island South of Funen.

All four are originally from South Funen in the same hometown/area and have had their fair share of Copenhagen wild life years back, but have now moved out to more people empty and desolate areas of Denmark.

The band consists of members from various bands that have all marked themselves on the music scene throughout the years. From bands such as Urkraft, SuperCharger, Decorate Decorate, The Drivers Broken Bone to mention a few. Each member provide each their unique musical in put to Miners Outfit, picked from their instrument and without trying to renew anything, at least the band have a sound of their own due to the unlikely instrument combination.

No member of the group can live without playing music and don’t have the free time to waste any minutes on half-hearted collaborations. Musically MINERS OUTFIT is inspired by such diverse acts as Jack White, Bruce Springsteen, Portishead,
R.E.M. and Queens of The Stone Age.
