CHONTARAZ reveals official album launch trailer and release date

From Norway, in a city called Hell (Yes, it’s true. Google it.), comes a new and epic metal project that will take you on a journey into the future. Welcome to the world of Chontaraz.

The year is 2068 and people are suffering from The Great War, that destroyed our world as we know it. But from the remains rises a prophecy. Led by frontman Chontaraz himself and accompanied by his band of rogue soldiers, he travels the world to preach his message to the people, a message of hope. A message of perseverance.

Take the Norwegian aggression from Dimmu Borgir, the German industrial grooves from Rammstein and the Swedish epic anthems of Sabaton, then you’re starting to get a sense of what we’re dealing with.

The debut album “Rondamauh” will be released March 24th. (Mighty Music) and is produced by the legendary Daniel Bergstrand (Behemoth, In Flames, Meshuggah).

In 2017 the band will be touring and playing European festivals. First confirmed festival appearance is at Metal Days in Slovenia, Thursday July 27^th on the second stage. Other bands confirmed are Marilyn Manson, Opeth, Amon Amarth, Venom, Katatonia and more.
