HEAVYCTION – Hybrid Cognition EP released 23/03/2018

Heavyction is pleased to announce the release of its first EP Hybrid Cognition mixed and mastered by Dan Swanö (Edge of Sanity, Nightingale…). “Hybrid Cognition” EP was released Digital Worldwide March 23th 2018.

In 2016, Heavyction started the recording of the first EP and also the making of the first Music Video “K.UM.U.S.”. The main concept behind “Hybrid Cognition” EP is a futuristic vision where machines take control over the humans resulting in the creation of Hybrid beings. “Hybrid Cognition” EP was mixed & mastered fall 2017 by the master Dan Swanö at Unisound AB studios.

Heavyction is an Industrial Death / Thrash Metal band from Paris, created in 2013. Heavyction is experimenting with an Industrial & Death Metal sound combining several influences such as electronic music, symphonic music, Thrash Metal, and old school Heavy Metal.

The project took place near 2013 when Harknoia (ex-Lethal Mind) and Amine Andalous O. (Deathronic) met at work… They decided to create a bloody Metal project with an “Hybrid” approach : Combining Industrial insane feelings, with Death & Thrash Metal roots. Gregory Vimont, Bass guitar and Jean-Yves Chateaux Drums (Also member of the Parisian band Lurking, ex-Mortuary…) both joined the band later, replacing former members…
