CANCERFAUST are watching you die

Cancerfaust is an old school death metal act based in Poznań, Poland. The band was formed in 2013, mainly inspired by the death metal of the early nineties.

They began to create material infused with the spirit of European and American scene of that time and bands like Deicide, Gorefest or Entombed. In May 2016 Cancerfaust recorded their 5 tracks debut EP “Killing Spree” and release it as an MP3 through bandcamp portal and regular CD. Debut EP was well received by polish underground metal scene. Band starts their live acts and since today they played with bands like Pandemonium, Christ Agony, Stillborn, Undercroft (Chile) or Mallephyr (Czech rep.).

In autumn 2017 Cancerfaust decided to record a new material. Recording, mix and mastering were taken in Poznań in Left Hand Sounds Studio with Marcin Rybicki as a sound engineer. The band previously decided to not release this material, but after all “Watching You Die” is being released in a MP3 format and limited tape as a foretaste of upcoming full album.

This material and the way it is issued is for us a tribute to old school death metal scene.
