If I understood the various information correctly, that AKOCEDAKOR was the previous name of this Spanish formation. And the album “Akocedakor” is the current re-edition of the first METATOR album, originally released in 2019…

It’s been a long time since I endured such brutal and destructive sounds! Crushing and furious guitar phrases merge the three most extreme genres of Metal – Death Metal, Black Metal and Grindcore! Massive riffs, crushing slowdowns and sadistic accelerations!

The polyphonic scale of vocalizations ranges from overdriven monstrous, guttural growlings (of various tones) to black-grindcore screams and shouts with accenting pig squeals. The singer definitely plays a very important role. It is very richly woven and changeable.

Anyway, the songs are changeable. I would say – they are multi-themed. In one track, many motifs appear, overloading the scales towards one of the three above-mentioned genres, or mixing them in one arrangement. It all makes the music are very technical.

Each type of Metal introduces a specific atmosphere. Death Metal – the theme is brutal and bloodthirsty. Black Metal – the theme is dark rage, and Grindcore – the psychotic aggression. However, this mercilessly crushing power also allows for the appearance of various guitar melodies, quite specific, but not exaggerated and sometimes peculiarly atmospheric.

It is not an brainless music, but the intelligently composed extreme Metal.

An additional advantage that builds the whole dark and ominous atmosphere is the post-apocalyptic intro and two short inserts (which are not included in the previous release). The first one are sounds, which introduce the mood of a mystical horror movie, and the second one is like a short fragment of DEAD CAN DANCE music.

The album is crowned with a well thought out cover of MOTÖRHEAD “Bomber”. The result was an interesting Blackened Death’n’Roll.
