SUMMER DYING LOUD Festival – CORONER becomes the third headliner among MY DYING BRIDE and DISMEMBER

Festival’s line up is almost complete, there are only 4 more announcements left. CORONER will headline the first day. DISMEMBER are the second one and they will play a special set devoted to “Like An Ever Flowing Stream” album. MY DYING BRIDE, who do not play that many shows, are the headliners of the last day together with other doom metal classics CANDLEMASS.

The festival with it’s versatile line-up includes artists from all over the world. Newest additions apart from CORONER are two death metal bands AUTOPHAGY (USA) and SEDIMENTUM (Canada). Post black metal band from Poland called MIR is the last one.

The festival will take place in Aleksandrów Łódzki in Poland between 7^th – 9^th September and it will feature exactly 50 bands on two stages for decent price. There is an option of sleeping in a tent on the festival area or under the roof in nearby city of Łódź which is connected with local night busses.

Apart from established bands like ENSLAVED, BENEDICTION, KATATONIA, CRIPPLED BLACK PHOENIX, … AND OCEANS or SETH, those who follow Polish metal scene should notice that there are few unique shows planned during that time:

OWLS WOODS GRAVES – this will be the first live show ever of this black metal band. The Fall and M.V.T who lead the band will be joined by M. from MGŁA and Bartek from NARBO DACAL.

BLINDEAD 23 – it is a new incarnation of BLINDEAD. Mateusz “Havoc” Śmierzchalski (ex. BEHEMOTH) collected quite impressive line-up for the band and they are: Patryk Zwoliński (ex. BLINDEAD singer on first 4 albums), Rojer Öjersson (TIAMAT, KATATONIA), Maciej Janas (KETHA), Paweł Jaroszewicz (ANTIGAMA, OBSCURE SPHINX, ex. VADER, ex. DECAPITATED) and Vinicius Nunes. The band is finalising the recording of the first album and festival show will be the first one they will play. There is one single revealed and more to come soon. KATATONIA and KETHA will also play on the festival this year.

GRIEVING – it is a stoner metal trio of musicians who play in Polish bands like FURIA, GRUZJA or MENTOR. They released their debut album “Songs For The Weary” this year and it met the expectations of this genre lovers. It will also be their first live show ever. FURIA will also play on the festival this year.

DISTRÜSTER – it is a death metal band which feature musicians active on Polish scene. Kosa (ex. DEATHREAT), Uappa Terror (TERRORDOME, EXTINKT) and James Steward (DECAPITATED, ex. VADER). They released a debut album “Sic Semper Tyrannis” in 2022 and will play their show for the first time.
