BRUTAL ASSAULT 2025 – extreme names join the festival line-up

Another batch of festival announcements provides us with extreme bands who represent grind and death metal. First one is the legendary BRUJERIA who plans to honour the memory of two band members who passed away this year: Pinche Peach and Juan Brujo. Another band is GADGET which presents an explosive mixture of grindcore, death metal and even punk. GUTALAX is gaining new fans by the storm with both its uncompromising music and unusual stage presence. MACABRE calls their style murder metal. In reality, it is a mixture of death and grind metal with lyrics describing brutal murders and crime stories.

Traditional death metal will be represented by BLOOD RED THRONE, DEFEATED SANITY, MALEVOLENT CREATION and MAMMOTH GRINDER. On the other hand, RIVERS OF NIHIL will perform more modern and technical variety of the same genre, while FLESHGOD APOCALYPSE will add some dose of symphonic pathos in addition to their ultra-fast tempos. The line-up is completed by melodic death metallers from THE HALO EFFECT.

The festival takes place in Czech Republic on four stages between 6th and 9th August 2025. The location remains unchanged and it is the Josefov fortress in the town of Jaromer.

Tickets for all days cost 187 Euro and they will be for sale till the end of December or until the batch is sold out. There are also tickets available for the youngest children (up to 12 y.o.), other for older ones (13-18 y.o.). There are also additional passes for the VIP lounge on the platform above the main console (one of the two of them is already sold out) and another option which is the area on the 8-meter high walls of the fortress that overlook two main stages. The number of tickets for the latter location is also limited.

Apart from tent area, there are also options to sleep in hotels or dormitories in neighbouring cities. The price for that also includes the possibility of free transportation to the event (1x daily back and forth).
