Cool Songs: That Old Guitar
After feed-back hails to us all the way from Spain, and they bring with them their own high intensity style of nu-metal. However no matter how intense of a sound that they may have EE still fails to impress me, the main reason being is that it lacks the verity of songs that I have come to expect on an album of this genre. Almost every song that they have recorded on EE sounds the same. The rift and drum work is repetitive and completely lacks any form of originality, you almost feel like each new track is a repeat of all previous tracks. Never the less not everything about EE is bad there is actually one song that I consider remotely bearable to listen to. That Old Guitar is an acoustic montage of calming lyrics and soft yet gentle vocal work. This is the only track where the rift and drum is actually bearable to hear more then once.
Unfortunately because of the many problems that I have found from listing to the entire album multiple times I cannot and will not recommend it to anyone. I actually feel sorry for anyone that has had to suffer even hearing one song off this horrible excuse of an album. The only reason that I gave this a three and not a one as rating is because I kind of like one of the songs other then that its deserves nothing short of a complete zero do not buy this CD.
note: 3/10
