O.K., Now were should I start? There are so many things that spin through your head when your listening to such a terrifing, grinding, sledge-hammer Cd such as the new release from MORTICIAN.
How do 2 guys sound so brutal, when some 5 piece bands can't even pronounce the word. This is by far the heaviest Cd that right now exist in my catalog. Don't get me wrong, I have alot of heavy shit, but this is digustingly brutal. This could easily be the sound track to any movie with zombie's munching on bloody human meat. Loaded with samples of shocked and screaming soon-to-be victims. I think they might want to cut back a little them, but it also makes it very interesting. Thousands of jack-hammer beats throughout, unfortunatly this is all done by digital programming. It sounds good, but it makes me wonder if they will ever be able find anyone who can play that fast and be able to keep up.
I don't think I have ever heard a band play as low tuned as this band. It sounds as if the strings are barely attached to their instruments. It sometimes almost drowns out the very low, zombie like vocals. I would hate to have the job of mixing a Cd as low as this one. If you don't play this loud you won't here the vocals at all. Play this one as loud as your speakers can handle and scare off those irrating neibors. This is a must for Death-Gore Fans
