What can I say? It’s no good and it’s in Spanish! I don’t know why I’m supposed to review this one ‘cos it’s really not my thing and doesn’t fit in on this site. How about, really boring punk-influenced music without neither substance nor charm? I know I’m being naughty here but what the hell – this is crap! Imagine skilled musicians that play a mix of Die Toten Hosen (German commercialized punk rock), old Red Hot Chili Peppers tunes with a touch of Blondie… if this gives you a boner, feel free to read on!
The whole thing starts out with a cheesy jazz intro. All in all I have to admit that these guys put in some good riffs but in very small quantities. Every now and then they put in some psycho-billy stuff, you know that 50’s influenced crazy shitty one string riffage, and I have to admit that I like it. The best song is track 16 that has an Iron Maiden intro to it and then it changes into something in the vein of The Cult/ Heroes Del Silencio (a pretty good Spanish The Cult-influenced band). The second best song is track 10 that is some kind of heavy skate-punk anthem. On these two tracks the vocals are pretty OK but on the rest of the tracks the vocals are a goddamn mistake: the lead vocalist tries to be cool but his weak voice and ruins it all. The most annoying thing are the shout-along soccer choruses that just make me sick. On track 13 they also try to do a Police thing but I have to tell you that I miss Sting! Track 14 is a pretty OK old-school hardcore flirt… it’s as far as it comes. The other tracks are not worth mentioning. Lyrically these guys try to be cool with words such as puta and bastardo. Guess that 12 year-old kids find this very appealing. Well this review wasn’t a nice one and I apologize to the guys if I was too rude. Due to the fact that they are skilled musicians I will have to give ‘em 5 out of 10.
