I’m sorry guys, but this really isn’t my cup of tea. I suppose this is an admirable attempt, but the songs lack a decent production and the guitars sound very weak. With more distortion this could have sounded a lot better. The bass is well up in the mix but it overpowers the guitar. The drums are clear but I would have loved to see them crank the guitars up to maximum volume.
Song three “Bloodlust” shows promise for the future with some fluid lead work, but you’ll have already decided by now if you like this or not. I like my death metal brutal and with over the top vocals. I like to hear the drummer trying to keep up with himself. On this, I can’t.
As this is a mini CD, it is difficult to talk about any kind of progression throughout the four songs. Perhaps on a full length, they will surprise with a better production and more inspired moments
