Cool songs: Your betrayal, Hellbound, One world to live in

Oops, if you press the start button of your CD player, I was near to get a heart attack! But, hey: cool! *Moan*, I love power metal… 
After they had a tour with Edguy (I can confirm that!), Hammerfall and Masterplan, Nostradameus put the fourth album out: “Hellbound”.
After „Words of Nostradameus“ of the year 2000, „The prophet of evil” of 2001 and “The third prophecy” of last year, there now next album. The guys from Gotheborg/Sweden are more aggressive than before.

They keep the speed up! Thrashy guitar riffs and drums as well as the vocals should be good for the more aggressive metal maniacs (aggressive due to the music, of course) as well. Best example is “Never turning back”. “One step away” reminds me sometimes of Axxis! Listen to the guitars… A ballad or something like that cannot be found on “Hellbound”. But that is not that worse.
The Swede´s seem to have found there sound/style. That is in fact again a CD, where you can find the perls after listening to is a few times.

Looking at the lyrics, you can see that Nostradameus deal with their experiences as well as with political subjects.
Totally, I can say that this Album is a bit too hard for me, although the speed has taken back with “Seven” and “One world to live in”. But I think, I will get friends with “Hellbound”. I am flexible 😉 Nostradameus should go on tour with Edguy again!

note: 8,5/10
