Oh my god! What is that? I think, I am going crazy… Do they want to torture me?? THIS piece (Gorgeous) for an opener! I just want to flee
After nearly 4 minutes I have survived and Home tonight calms me down a bit.
16 years have gone by, since Enuff Z´Nuff released their debut album. Well, with a new album with the title ? – that I think, is not very bad J – and a deal with the Italian label Frontiers Record singer Donnie Vie and bassist Chip Znuff want to show that they still (want to) be able to play music after 13 albums.
? shows melodic rock, reminding sometimes much on the Beatles. With their original drummer Vicki Foxx and original guitarist Derek Frigo, this CD reminds on the unhappy death of the last guy in the year 2004. Frigo finished his recordings for ? and died just a short time later by a cruel car accident. This CD therefore is specialty for the band and the fans.
Ballads, a cover song, an instrumental and rock pieces, everything is united on ?.
Queen´s Stone cold crazy has been gecovert – but this version still is a thing of taste.
Now Enuff Z´ Nuff want to bring their newest opus to the public. There are tours planned with White Lion, Bang Tango, Pretty Boy Floyd and many more.
But the album is not much for than for listening to it for the background (although Hang on for life is pretty cool). This thing hasn´t got much difference, excitement and heaviness. It seems to me that it is more pop music than hard rock. This might be because of Donnie´s vocals that remind on John Lennon´s. Mostly a bit too boring…
