LEICHENWETTER get the dust off dead German poets like Hesse, Schiller or Nietzsche. And they pull a very up to date clothing over this gothic metal with metallic touch. (resource: www.leichenwetter.de)
In the end of the 90´s, this gothic-electronic band was founded. Heavy guitars come together with electronics. Singer Numen gives those heavy hymns their special touch. With a bit of Rammstein (but only with the song Verführer), LEICHENWETTER can go their own way. A really good idea is to put German poems on in a metallic-modern style and performing it that good. The five guys bring the feelings of the lyrics to the point, for example the scary moments (Weltende) as well as the brutal, naked poverty to day (Die schlesischen Weber). Sometimes too electronic But it sets a lot of different feelings free.
Also on stage LEICHENWETTER could collect some experiences. As the support act for Megaherz, Tanzwut, Subway to Sally and The Crüxshadows the four masked guys from Germany and their singer already have a huge fan base.
Those are not Letzte Worte (German for last words), I guess I can recommend the following songs: Nur Dich, Letzte Worte, Verführer, Grenzen der Menschheit, Mondnacht and Weltende. BUT: There was no need to record remixes of Verführer and Nur Dich. Without them, this album had 11 bombastic songs! Those two songs are getting on my nerves! And next time please NO awfull cover versions of German trash singers (Jenseits von Eden of Nino de Angelo)!!
