Towersound's first album self titled, Towersound is really impressive for an initial release and even if the band suffers unfortunately of a really average recording. Even though there are some French Metal bands that are more impressive, Towersound have the potential to follow this trend.
As I said, Towersound's realease is a really average and amateurish production, which actually gets in the way of the bands ability to get across their musical talent. Whic is a shame when you hear a band with musical potential.
The French trio have tried to produced something that feels classic and yet sounds original. Good rhythms, nice solos catchy melodies and the deep voice of Jon are the ingredients of the music of Towersound. The singer, however, regretfully has a French accent which is hard to ignore.
The music is technically original and above all fairly well written and despite the average recording comes across as mediocre in this CD. They have a great singer and a bunch of good musicians and in the end its an emotive first album.
