Cool songs: Reprieves For My Enemies, Mass Extinction Agenda, Terminated With Prejudice
When I looked at the name of the band and the title of the album for the first time, I had a feeling that this is going to be a tough one. And I hit the jackpot. This American Brutal/Grind band, formed in 2001, shows, that they know how to blow everyones heads into pieces.
This is one of the most brutal dose of power Ive ever heard. And I like it! What strikes at the very beginning, is the fact, that the drummer does all of the hard work here. The guitar riffs are very heavy and fleshy, although they do not lack in some sort of melodic line. The drum fills are magnificent. They are extremely fast, produced with superb attention to technical details. Varelas skills are audible from the first note. He plays as if he was a machine! When it comes to the vocal line well, this is grind metal, so no wonder no one would ever understand them. They sound exactly the same in each song, so therefore, this is a little minus. More variety would be just fine. The music itself is rather varied, the style and motifs change quite often (for example in very good Reprieves For My Enemies). What is more, Adolph Hitlers speech given as an intro to Terminated With Prejudice creates that gloomy and evil climate. The rest is quite good, but does not make you want to worship them.
This aggressive piece of music is only for the connoisseurs of such play and this niche sound. It is very brutal and powerful, will fully satisfy them. But watch out. If you are not one of them, better stay out of it, you might get injured.
