Cool songs: Philosopher
The band started its action in 1995 in Montevideo with releasing their first demo. Till that time some changes in the line up appeared and they managed to release two full-length albums. The first on is dated to 1998, the most recent, to 2004. now that is a long time period between releases.
REQUIEM AETERNAM are nothing more than another bunch of mouth yelling lads who think that their music will change the world. Rectitude is very fleshy, heavy and dynamic, with extremely incomprehensive vocal. Sounds sometimes like the heavier version of SYSTEM OF A DOWN. Later on, it is just the same old play, with some better drum fills but quite poor melodic section and that silly scream. When the singer tries to sing, it sounds even more funny, but this depends on the listeners taste. In Liberty he sounds like an African shaman. The music is a sheer chaos and gives no pleasure from listening.
Even such a noble sending: the lyrics are based on woks by the worlds greatest philosophers (Seneca, Rousseau, etc.) has to be supported with appropriate sound. And this time none such thing happens. It is a pity, because one might have found it useful or interesting to listen to some philosophers speeches, but with such performance, it is just impossible.
