Cool songs: Unleash the Fury, 19 Tons of Mummified Cats, Pulp Fiction, Shoah
The band was formed in 2001 by Filip and Rysiek. They started their work in a cellar, in a two-piece squad, but luckily enough, after a short period of time, they could move to a kind of studio, where they did some rehearsals. In 2002, Krzysiek and Sławek joined the band and since then, they had been working upon some fresh material, released in 2005.
It is one of these albums which will not bring an easy and painless death. Will not be an easy listening, and will not be black nor white. It is full of discrepancy: the sound is terrible (recorded in a garage, so no wonder), as if it was generated by a guitar connected to the engine of a mower, some songs are completely dull and sound very much alike. Although, there are also some quite interesting compositions, full of motifs and pace changes, which allow your mind to develop some thoughts through the process of listening – Unleash the Fury is a completely finished up piece of work, in perfect trims). Varied sounds and genre elements, like in 19 Tons of Mummified Cats, carry the burden and push the album higher, making it sometimes a pleasurable death thrash trash. And the essence of this album is released when Pulp Fiction reaches your ear. This performance of worlds most recognisable musical motif simply blows away. What cannot be said about the rest of the content, which is much weaker.
It is a nice album, with a downgrading tendency. Starts poorly, winds up, and when it seems that everything is going into the right direction, there is a rapid turn down, and we are again on the same track. One point extra for Pulp Fiction sub-zero interpretation.
