On Parole Productions – the label from Slovenia presents us BRUTART this time. The band comes from Slovenia too and it plays the mixture of Doom and Death Metal with influences of the Swedish Death Metal school as well as with traces of Stoner Metal. The connection creates the quite interesting music. The album of “Mimic” is released in original way – this is the slim book, bound in fat cardboard cover with the lyrics and the information as well as the illustrations handmade.
The music possesses signs above-mentioned the species of Metal – and namely: the monumental growling, the heavy low tuned guitars bringing out from themselves muffled or sounding rhythmically riffs and pretty melodious phrases as well as curiously arranged the drums supporting average-slow paces. Sometimes the psychedelic guitar insertions appear or the climatically melodious solos more often. The whole is very rhythmical, heavy, with dose of psychedelic sounds.
Sincerely saying I did not listen such Metal long ago and I think that BRUTART makes good job.
