SONIQ THEATER is created by Alfred Mueller – German composer who produced the next 10 album. “Unknown Realities” was released by TSM/SLW Promotions. Musical inspirations come from many progressive bands (not only from area of progressive rock/metal) but contained compositions on the album are nearer to creations of MIKE OLDFIELD even JEAN MICHEL JARRE or VANGELIS.

All guitar sounds seem to be produced by keyboards, because the synthetizer and the different hey instruments create basis to arrangement. “Unknown Realities” is portraying very rich, spatial and climatic music with the different sounds and the melodies and this brings the variety of moods. Though fabulous climate prevails here but this climate sometimes is dark and melancholic with some secret. Other time the sounds create really idyllic atmosphere. Contained compositions on the album propose the multitude of different musical styles, like South Americans rhythms, classic and masterly motifs, Jazz, Funk, Fusion, Rock and even Ambient.

However I feel lack of “alive” guitars despite these rich arrangements… But I listen this music with pleasure…
