“Biteback” is the second publication which I listened. THE WAY OF PURITY is very controversial team – the controversial image, the controversial message presented by the mysterious musicians without face, without surnames and without nationality. Their idea of God and of Satan is different from the ideas of majorities Metal hordes wallowing in religious themes (Satanic-Christian).

Tiril Skardal – fair-haired vocalist with the predatory growl is the one of team possessing a face and identity. Recently more and more and more bravely the women try their forces in a growl. And in the case of THE WAY OF PURITY – this is with success, because the scream of Tiril sounds very sharply and predatory. Her voice is so strong as a  voice of males.

And the music? “Biteback” is Ep (three tracks) which portrays predatory Death Metal. However their Death Metal is updated somewhat, and it is audible in the structures of arrangements. The themes of Metalcore as well as the specific rhythmically motives of Mathcore also appear in the compositions. The music is very heavy and brutal… the merciless feast of hungry wolves. And ill-boding electronic samples and keys as well as sometimes the accents of melodious guitar with the solos spin in the background.

The whole is very aggressive and predatory, outright blooded and animal.
