BATHORY

According to the BATHORY fan site Twilight, BATHORY mainman Quorthon has been writing new material at his home base in Sweden and is planning to enter the studio late this winter or early in the spring to record the group's twelfth album (which apparently has the unserious working title of “Dra Ballen i Gruset Grabbar”), tentatively due later in the year through Black Mark Records.

In other news, BATHORY are also scheduled to be featured on a Peaceville Records CD about the history of black metal, supposedly with the track “Dies Irae”. Meanwhile, the band's official web site has been launched at www.bathory.se.
