City Of Crime is the first single from the danish blues rockers Freddy and the Phantoms, since their critically acclaimed third album Times of Division. City of Crime invites the listener into an epic universe – of dark grand pianos and razor sharp guitar-licks, backed by an intense groove that unfolds throughout the song.

City of Crime is song about decadence and broken dreams – and is a modern take on the “Depression-blues” inpired by Chicago blues and legends as BB King and Rolling Stones records from the 1970’ties .

The stylish video was by shot and produced by the copenhagen video collective Bitte Sch?n , and features a distinctively sharp dressed band, excessive amounts of champagne and an old white grand piano, transporting us back to the golden years of Chicago Blues.
