Californian thrash upstarts Warbringer have just revealed the video for”Black Sun, Black Moon”, a track from their killer new album “IV: Empires Collapse”.
The moody, cinematic video was directed by Dean Ciocca, and tells a sinister tale involving a trunk load of bodies, the desert at night, and, of course, a metric tonne of absolutely killer thrash riffs. Black Sun, Black Moon is a fine example of the kind of furious metal lunacy that awaits you on IV: Empires Collapse, which is surely Warbringers most assured and powerful album yet.
Warbinger vocalist John Kevill had this to say about the video shoot:
We just finished shooting our video clip for Black Sun, Black Moon. We went out to the most desolate stretch of highway we could find out in the Mojave desert. Its a fitting location for this song, which is a motorin heavy metal tune, with a Priest highway-rollin type feel crossed with the forbidding mysticism of the night!
The director Dean Ciocca is an old friend of ours and a talented filmmaker. He came up with the treatment for the song based off the lyrics. He put a great crew together and we shot all through the night!
