BLACKWATER to release a special edition of their E.P “RIVER” via Wormholedeath

Blackwater are set to release a special edition of their E.P “RIVER” with 3 bonus tracks in UK, Germany, Japan and US through Italian label Wormholedeath.

Blackwater is proud to announce the release of their E.P “RIVER” special edition scheduled for october the 21st, 2014 via Wormholedeath.

A 10 track prelude to their impending debut 11 track L.P also coming for 2014! Featuring singles “Waste Away”, ”Blackheart evil” and title track “River”, Blackwater offer up a medley of hard, fast, pop and slow rock delivered with punch and southing finesse, defining the band as a jukebox of surprises.

New single Blackheart Evil is also set for a release on October the 28th.

Jay Bartlett stated:

“We began writing for our album in the early months of 2013 and we always had a clear goal of where we wanted music to go and how it should it feel. The simple plan was that we would write until our creativity hit a wall and choose the best songs to go on the record. The problem was that we never hit that wall and we didn’t
want to waste the songs we had eliminated from the final record. In fact my personal favourite song from the E.P “River” was written half on the underground in London on the way to one studio and the rest the day before we recorded the drums and bass for the E.P at another studio in Sweden. That is really how we ended
up with such a long extended play. We also had a couple of acoustic versions of the songs so this is a lovely opportunity to release them as a special edition for the fans”.

About The Band:

London based Blackwater was formed in 2013, did their debut show supporting Tremonti at The Roxy LA. With 2 singles released in 2013,
“by day & by night”(released for charity for CRUK) and ” High coast heroes” (Nr 1 on Itunes rockchart in Sweden) Blackwater also supported Halestorm and Steel Panther in Scandinavia. The EP River and the 2 singles Waste Away & River was release during the summer of 2014.
