People say that the family is only good in the photo. However, in the music community family ties usually are good. The another proof for that is the “sound system” UNDERDAMPED SYSTEM. (Probably) Szafran brothers make up 40% of the band, in which the common playing plays an important role, because the creation of such complex rhythmic sequences closed in ultra-heavy and aggressive sounds requires close cooperation.
The core of the compositions are the heavy multirhytmic guitars-drums phrases with the aggressive growls, which downright psychotic and hypnotic devastate a mind. Heavy-sounded, low-tuned guitars oscillate between crushed djent-metal hits and dreary slow-downs. And sometimes these are close to patents from genre called Slam Death Metal (or Slamming Death Metal)… At present there are many subgenres and I’m not follow up all subgenres… The guitar’s sounds in higher tones are something as solos and they provide contrast as well as emphasize the psychedelic mood of the dark whole.
“Phantom Pain” stimulates the body by impulses cause distorted convulsions. The album is the perfect aliment for fans of MESHUGGAH and GOJIRA.
