COMMUNIC „Waves of Visual Decay”
Cool Songs: Frozen Asleep in the Park, Under A Luminous Sky, Fooled By The Serpent, Waves of Visual Decay.

THE LEGION „Revocation”
IT all depends where youre coming from I guess, but for me the absolute best thing about The legions second album is the gloriously conceived artwork from Kris Verwimp. Its rather sad hey? Here is a rather new Swedish Black Metal band put together by none other than Marduks drummer Emil Drautinovic and the most interesting thing I can find about it is the cover art; that and their tremendous spiky logo.
THREAT SIGNAL „Under Reprisal”
Huh? Whats that I hear in the distance? A familiar sound; comes around on its yearly orbit professing to destroy all in its path yep thats it straight out of Donzdorf Germany, a massive hulking beast they call the Hype Machine. All props to the guys at Nuclear Blast, they do enormous work in the name of metal and I love them dearly.
IF HOPE DIES „Life in Ruin”
Cool Songs: Burned Out, Dead Reckoning, Time is Not on Our Side, Marked for Death.
.
EVERGREY „Monday Morning Apocalpyse”
Cool Songs: Lost, Monday Morning, Unspeakable, At Loss for Words, Still in the Water.
.
EDGUY „Rocket Ride”
Cool Songs: Catch of the Century, Wasted Time, Rocket Ride, Fucking With Fire, Scarifice
.
SEVEN WITCHES „Amped”
Ive always had a lot of time for Seven Witches. Although their earlier material didnt quite hit the mark, there was always a hint of something brewing beneath the surface with main man songwriter/guitarist Jack Frost being the absolute star of the act It wasnt until 2003s crunching Passage to the Other Side that we finally saw what this band was capable of.
ONE MAN ARMY AND THE UNDEAD QUARTET „21st Century Killing Machine”
Of all the positives that could/have been written about Swedens The Crown (RIP), vocalist Johan Lindstrand was always the major draw card as far as I was concerned. I was mightily disappointed when he was replaced by Tompa Lindberg for the Crowned in Terror album.
RUMPELSTILTSKIN GRINDER „Buried in the Front Yard”
With one of the weirdest names in metal, Pennsylvanias Rumpelstiltskin Grinder (from here on known as RsG) have unleased their debut full length on the mighty Relapse label. Having not heard these guys before, I was open to anything that this might throw at me with a name as convoluted as theirs and an album entitled Buried in the Front Yard adjectives such as Gore and Grind were the most obvious descriptions that came to mind.
ED GEIN „Judas Goats & Dieseleaters”
Cool Songs: Small Towns, Small Minds, Were Drowning In It, A Conflict of Interest, Killing a Co-Worker, Amen.
