OLD MAN'S CHILD „In Defiance Of Existence”
Could it be… That we have the best black metal release of 2003 so early on in the year??? Probably not, because Cradle Of Filth and Dimmu Borgir will release theirs later on, but this sounds GREAT…
NAGLFAR „Sheol”
Sheol is one hell of an album, fast, extreem, chaotic, and constantly blazing like hell. Somehow, Naglfar's sound immediately reminded me of Dissection, but Naglfar is definitely not a copycat.
NAPALM DEATH „Enemy Of The Music Business”
Cool songs: Most of the songs on this album are cool, not all, but a lot of them
.
NAPALM DEATH „Order Of The Leech”
Because I really liked the previous album from these Giants Of Grindcore, I was really excited about this one. Ok, it's not as good as Enemy Of The Music Business (one of the albums my mum still remembers), but it still rocks (in EXACTLY the same way)
.
METALLICA „St. Anger”
But NOT in the same way, St. Anger doesn't sounds like anything they ever released before.
KATAKLYSM „Shadows and Dust”
The Canadian band Kataklysm started in the grindcore/blast-scene, and so far, Kataklysm has managed to grow on each release. Therefor, this one just blasts everything away! This album is one of the best melodic death albums around.
KOVENANT, THE „S.E.T.I.”
When I heard the new Finntroll was out I was very excited, for I really liked their previous album Jaktens Tid. I can imagine you have never heard of this band from Finland, let me tell you something about it:
.
IPSUM „Mystic Evilution”
The name of the band, Ipsum, is Latin, and since I'm thought Latin, I can analyse this name. I don't know if it is solid and reliable, but I'll try to get it as trustworthy as possible.
