LOU SIFFER & THE HOWLING DEMONS „At Your Service”
LOU & THE HOWLING SIFFER DEMONS is a group of people united by the similar fascination, that is love for fast cars and motorbikes and music of Rock. “At Your Service” is the second album of the band and of course the further evidence of the fascination, what is audible in the sounds, in the texts and it is visible in the graphic design of the album.
.
PLANET RAIN „The Fundamental Principles”
The musicians from the Swedish PLANET RAIN made their mark in the world of music at the end of the last century as ZWEIHANDER. And despite the name change they remained faithful to their ideals music and they still walk the same path.
CONFIDENCE „Prelude”
It is time for Swedish prelude of CONFIDENCE… Swedish bands always have something interesting to offering even if it is Black, Death and Power Metal.
ONE WITHOUT „Sweet Relief”
City of Gothenburg hides the next band, which from the 2003 cultivates the melodic variation of extreme playing.
.
CLOUD ZONE „Demo”
CLOUD ZONE is Swedish team, which starts first steps in Metal Underground. Them musical fascinations of such teams like CULT OF LUNA, MESHUGGAH, THE OCEAN and ISIS were reflected significantly on the music created by the team…
.
THE WAY OF PURITY „Crosscore”
Before I got the disc of THE WAY OF PURITY earlier I watched the movie promoting their album – “Crosscore”. The movie showed the story about the creation of the music of the band.
GALLOWS END „Nemesis Divine”
After the release of Ep – “Kingom of the Damned” – time has come for the album – “Nemesis Divine”
The Swedes approached professionally to the matter and they recorded almost hour-long album, which was dressed in the digipack with the paintings of J.P. Fournier (he painted for EDGUY, AVANTASIA, IMMORTAL, STEEL ATTACK among others)
.
WITCHERY „Witchkrieg”
Melody and the brutal burgers are two ingredients that are hard to balance within a particular aural dish. Thanks to a little supergroup magic however, the two coexist most harmonious and explode in hellish fireworks across the 40 odd minutes of Witchkrieg, the uncompromising new album from Swedens preeminent extreme heavy metal, uh, supergroup.
DARK FUNERAL „Angelus Exuro Pro Eternus”
Dark Funeral spare no filler when it comes to getting the party started. At the crack of the drums The End Of The Human Race gets underway and gosh, its pretty pestilential.
THE GENERALS „Stand Up Straight”
Ever the fount of metallic goodness, this year Sweden gives us The Generals: four musical tough guys (one of thems named a very Viking Hednar) whose sound straddles thrash metals intensity and the peculiar death n roll subgenre. Kicking the door down on this oddly named Stand Up Straight debut is the no-bullshit opener Blessing In Disguise that introduces the listener to the bands penchant for solid riffs and battering percussion corsetted in melody.

DREAM EVIL „In The Night”
Their music among the purest expressions of power metal imaginable with its shameless cheese and mighty emphasis on melody, Dream Evil are still quite the funny bunch. Having forged a career unequaled in terms of sheer ridiculous-ness that began with the Dungeons n Dragons themed Dragonslayer to the near-perfect Book Of Heavy Metal followed by the retrogressive United, all guns blazing has always been Dream Evils marching orders despite the accompanying snickers from their audience.
BIBLEBLACK „The Black Swan Epilogue”
Cool Songs: Leaving Shangri-La, Mourning Becomes Me, I am Legion, Walk into Light (Liars Parade)
.
SCAR SYMMETRY „Dark Matter Dimensions”
Forging ahead despite vocalist extraordinaire Christain Alvestams abrupt departure last year, Scar Symmetry continue with the business of melodic death metal married to alternating vocals on their breathtaking Dark Matter Dimensions. The difference this time around is two people are needed to fill Mr. Alvestams shoes; you have the growlsome Robert Karlsson opposite Lars Palmquists majestic throatwork.
NIGHTRAGE „Wearing A Martyr's Crown”
Cool songs: Shed the Blood, Collision of Fate, Wearing a Martyr's Crown, Failure of All Human Emotions

DISMEMBER „Under Bloodred Skies DVD”
One of the creators of Swedish death metal, DISMEMBER, returns with its second visual offering Under Bloodred Skies. The two-disc DVD contains a concert filmed at Party San Open Air festival in Germany, a documentary and bonus footage. The two-disc presentation is similar to the groups first DVD Live Blasphemies, but instead of focusing on the bands career during the documentary, the Under Bloodred Skies documentary looks at events after 2004, thus bridging the time gap between the two documentaries.

DECADENCE „Chargepoint”
Chargepoint. Strange name for an album.

ARCH ENEMY „The Root Of All Evil”
As the first introductory track begins, it seems to be the calm before the storm; an instrumental minute and seven seconds of wondering exactly what the fuck to expect from ARCH ENEMYs eighth studio album. For this is no ordinary effort from the Sweden-based metal titans.

MARDUK „Wormwood”
MARDUK was once a band one could point to for having the typical Scandinavian BM sound, which was fine because they played a major factor in creating that style. Wormwood, the groups latest album goes against that logic.
Listen to PARADISE LOST new album “Faith devides us – Death unites us”
British gothic metal act PARADISE LOST will release its highly anticipated new album Faith Divides Us Death Unites Us via Century Media Records on the following dates:

BONE GNAWER „Feast of Flesh”
Cool Songs: Feast of Flesh, Cannibal Cook-Out, Hammer To The Skull, The Saw Is Family
.
FUNERAL MIST „Maranatha”
When it rains it pours. After few years of silence we were starting to worry that Arioch from now on will 'entertain' us only as Mortuus in Marduk, but then suddenlly Salvation's successor appeared a devilry called Maranatha.
HAMMERFALL „No Sacrifice, No Victory”
Killer Songs: “Any Means Necessary,” “Punish And Enslave,” “Bring The Hammer Down”

NECROPHOBIC „Death to All”
Throughout its history, NECROPHOBIC has included among its ranks members of such touted Swedish death and black metal acts as DISMEMBER, THERION, NIFELHEIM, and DARK FUNERAL. Although the names DISSECTION and EMTOBED appear more often, NECROPHOBIC is one of the most enduring and consistent bands in Sweden.
