SUNN O))) „Black One”
Black One begins with the whispery, ethereal, almost dirge like opener Sin Nanna. Definitely my least favorite track on the album, because it doesnt seem to add anything to the overall composition, it feels faintly like a tacked on afterthought.
DAVOLA „The Resume”
DAVOLA is one-man project of Aaron Cloutier. The album “The Resume” is summary of artist's works which contains until 15 tracks closed in over seventy minutes.

SACRED OATH „Darkness Visible”
This album comes after quite a gap. The last SACRED OATH album was a little way back now with the rerecording of crystal re-vision in 1998 that saw another release in 2005.
AVICHI „The Divine Tragedy”
Cool Songs: Purification within the Eighth Sphere, Messianic Deliverance, Tadium Vitae

VITAL REMAINS „Icons of Evil”
Icons of Evil is the second VITAL REMAINS album featuring inverted-cross-branded front man Glen Benton of DEICIDE on vocals. How you felt about their previous album Dechristianize, will most likely determine your feelings for this one.
QUINTA ESSENTIA „Neutrality for Defined Chaos”
Cool Songs: Hidden Constellation (A Journey Through the Missing Masses), Quintessential Holocaust
.
XASTHUR/LEVIATHAN „Split”
The United States proudly carries on the tradition of grim black metal once confined to frozen Scandanavian grounds. Moribund is the figurehead for this modern movement, and two of its most prominent acts are LEVIATHAN and XASTHUR.
NOCTUARY „Recollections”
Cool Songs: Black Angels Return, Forever Shrouded Within This World, Sorrow in Winter Darkness, A Tear's Descent From Heaven (Live)
.
ALL THAT REMAINS „The Fall of Ideals”
Along with KILLSWITCH ENGAGE and UNEARTH, New Englands ALL THAT REMAINS is a band that focuses more on heaviness and musicianship, and less on fashion and whiney, Emo vocals. Sure, vocalist Philip Labonte sings with clean vocals, but his vocals are dripping with passion and pain, instead of the bouncy, teeny-bopper, Pop Punk vocals that have seem to taken over this scene in the last couple of years.
